Hi, I'm Ali :)
Locus Mediation is the culmination of more than 20 years' study, training and practical experience in negotiation, dispute resolution and restorative justice with some of the most interesting, complex, challenging and rewarding people in the business, across a wide range of fields, including family law, industrial relations, youth justice, child protection, local government and Victorian state politics.
I've been in the middle of almost every kind of dispute you can think of. A lot of my learning has come from books, and a lot has come from my own mistakes along the way. I have more war stories than I can count.
And for all the drama and stress that conflict brings, what I know for sure is that every conflict contains the seeds of growth, change and renewal. It can reset directions in positive new ways, deepen relationships and drive innovation.
We are not in the business of ending all conflict. Far from it. We're here to make it a force for good. We teach staff and employers how to take a brave and restorative approach to conflict, so that they can reap the benefits and avoid the risks.
In partnership with the extraordinary team at Clarity 4D, we use evidence-based tools and techniques to help people better understand themselves and each other, empowering them to improve communication, break impasses, shift thinking and repair relationships.
